The American Heart Association ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response.
What does this course teach?
- Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
- Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
- Airway management
- Related pharmacology
- Management of ACS and stroke
- Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team

Option 1 – ACLS Provider – Classroom Training – $200
Instructor-led, hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency. The ACLS Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.
The ACLS Provider Classroom Course takes approximately 5.5 – 6.5 hours along with Pre-course work that is completed prior to attending the session. The AHA ACLS Certificate is issued upon successfully complete the training.
Option 2- ACLS HeartCode – Skills Check (Only – Elearning not included) – $135
Choose this option only if you have completed your elearning part and are ONLY looking for a skills check off i.e. part 2 of the ACLS Heartcode. The elearning module is not included and is available for purchase from the AHA Website
Once you sign up you are required to show us the part 1 completion certificate and we will set you up for a hands-on session with an instructor takes approx 5 hrs to be completed. The AHA ACLS Certificate is issued once you successfully complete the training.

Becoming an AHA instructor is, by far, a noteworthy achievement. It demonstrates that you know the content, and you have shown the ability to deliver vital course material to your students. If you are an RNs, APNs, PAs, LPNs, MDs, DOs, EMTs, Paramedics, Techs and you have a willingness to teach and a positive attitude, then maybe an instructor program is right for you!
Upon completing this course, you will be issued an American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor Card in the discipline you wish to teach ACLS Instructor.
