Credentials and Certifications


Upon successful completion of the CNA training program and full payment of all class fees, you will receive a CNA Class Completion Certificate issued by Criticare Medical Institute which is required to register for the NNAAP Certification exam.

  • The NNAAP Examination consists of two components: a written or oral portion and a skills demonstration portion. will be administered by Credentia Registration and Scheduling Services, who is the approved testing company for Georgia NNAAP. Certification exams will be at dedicated training sites or you may choose another location.

  • The CNA class includes test preparation activities; however, your success in passing your certification exam is the students responsibility.

  • NEW NURSE AIDE CANDIDATES: Candidates who have completed a Georgia state- approved Nurse Aide training program. Candidates have one (1) year following the completion of a state approved training program to pass both portions of the NNAAP examination and are given three (3) test attempts for both Skills and Written

  • If you do not pass either the Written/Oral or Skill Evaluation portion of your certification exams, you may apply to test again. You will be responsible for the testing fee of $130* for Written Exam and Skills Evaluation exam OR $ Oral Exam and Skills Evaluation – $130*.

  • After you have passed the certification exams candidates you will be listed on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry and are then eligible for employment as a Nurse Aide.
