Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR is the American Heart Association course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies. This course gives high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
The course will prepare the attendee to successfully respond to and manage illnesses and injuries until professional help arrives. This course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 U.S. states.
Upon registering for this course participants will receive an online course access that the students complete from the comfort of their home . Once completed Candidates will come to classroom to practice hands on techniques with an instructor on manikins and/or partners to learn life saving skills with an instructor. The skills session takes about 1 hrs to complete.
Course Duration for the in-person skills check part of the Pediatric First Aid CPR i is 1.5 hrs.
